Modern agriculture is undergoing a period of profound transformation. The challenge of producing more, with quality, efficiency, and environmental responsibility, demands solutions that go beyond conventional approaches. It is within this context that a new way of thinking about plant nutrition and soil management emerges: an innovation that is born in the field, makes use of its own resources, and returns to it as productivity, balance, and sustainability. This is the foundation of Agrion’s work.
The essence of our technology lies in organomineral fertilizers, developed from agro-industrial raw materials such as filter cake and vinasse. These by-products, historically regarded as waste, gain new value when transformed through rigorous industrial processes and enriched with high-quality organic and mineral components. The result is an input that respects the soil’s natural cycle, contributes to its vitality, and provides more efficient plant nutrition.
Another key benefit is the reduction of losses caused by volatilization and leaching, improved nutrient retention, and the promotion of a more favorable environment for soil biological activity. This translates into greater agronomic efficiency, improved utilization of applied nutrients, and, consequently, better economic returns for growers.
An additional important pillar of innovation is the gradual release of nutrients in solid fertilizers, ensuring a more stable supply throughout the crop cycle. Instead of peaks of availability followed by losses, what occurs is continuous nutrition, synchronized with plant demand. This characteristic provides greater safety at the point of application and directly contributes to uniform crop development.
For liquid solutions, Agrion also advances with clear differentiators. We work with concentrated formulations, without dilution in water, ensuring greater logistical efficiency, lower application volumes, and a high concentration of nutrients per hectare.
The concept of living soil is at the heart of our strategy. More than simply nourishing plants, we seek to build balanced agricultural systems in which the soil is treated as an active organism. Organic matter, combined with proper mineral nutrition, improves soil physical structure, enhances water infiltration and retention, stimulates beneficial microbiota, and increases crop resilience to climatic stress. The result is a more stable and sustainable productive base over time. Each product results from registered formulations developed according to rigorous technical criteria and adapted to the real conditions of producing regions. More than selling inputs, Agrion works with close technical assistance, maintaining direct relationships with growers, retailers, cooperatives, and strategic partners. This proximity ensures correct application of solutions, maximizes results, and strengthens relationships built on trust.
Agrion’s growth follows a clear vision: operating our plants within sugar and ethanol mills to achieve logistical optimization, ensure raw material quality, and uphold industrial and environmental responsibility. Our first industrial unit began operations in 2023 in Tupaciguara, Minas Gerais, adjacent to Bioenergética Aroeira. This integration with the sugar-energy sector reinforces our commitment to the circular economy by transforming industrial by-products into high-value agricultural inputs.

We have created a circular model in which innovation begins in the field and returns to it as sustainable growth. Our purpose is clear: to deliver consistent productivity while building resilient, living soils for the next generation of agriculture.
Continuing our expansion plan, a second unit is already under construction in Ibirarema, in the state of São Paulo, within the Enersugar complex. This strategic partnership further strengthens our model of industrial integration, sustainability, and logistical efficiency. Recently, Agrion also signed a contract with the Cerradão mill in Frutal, Minas Gerais—an organization that shares the same values of environmental commitment, respect for ecosystems, and sustainable development.
These partnerships are not only industrial, but also conceptual. They reflect a vision of the future in which agriculture, industry, and the environment move forward together. Agrion’s expansion is supported by solid ESG practices, responsible governance, transparency in relationships, and ongoing dialogue with public authorities and the various links of the production chain.
Our outlook extends beyond national borders. The company is already preparing to announce new units outside Brazil, taking its model of innovation, sustainability, and efficiency to other agricultural markets. This international expansion reinforces confidence in the technology developed and in the potential of organomineral fertilizers as key drivers of a more balanced agriculture.
At the center of everything is a simple yet ambitious goal: to deliver productivity with quality and economic viability throughout the entire production cycle. This means respecting the soil, valuing natural resources, offering technically efficient and economically viable solutions, and building lasting relationships with those who make agriculture happen every day in the field.
Agrion believes that the future of agriculture lies in the integration of innovation, sustainability, and close relationships with growers. An innovation that is born in the field, returns to the field, and leaves a positive legacy for future generations.
